Google has enhanced Chat Audit Logs and the Security Investigation Tool by adding four new fields—Conversation ownership, Conversation type, Message type, and Attachment status—along with a new 'Conversation Read' event. These updates provide admins with deeper context and more granular data points for security analysis and custom reporting.

Google Chat usage reports are now available via the Admin SDK Reports API.
