G Suite admins can now create multiple directories with custom visibility rules for different organizational units.
G Suite admins can now cluster users into separate directories with custom visibility rules for each organizational unit (OU). Previously, only one directory per domain was allowed, meaning visibility was all-or-nothing for the entire domain. This update allows for more granular control, such as allowing full-time employees to see a global directory while restricting temporary staff to a limited custom directory.

Call US or Canadian phone numbers for free from Hangouts Meet
G Suite users can now add participants to a Hangouts Meet video call by calling US or Canadian phone numbers for free directly from their web browser. While this feature initially required G Suite admins to enable Google Voice in the Admin console, an update on May 15, 2018, removed this requirement, making the feature accessible to all G Suite domains.

Google Drive updates the Access checker to improve visibility of users needing access, support Team Drive files, and provide intelligent sharing defaults.
