Gmail users can now view .ppt and .tiff file attachments directly in their browser without the need for a Flash plugin. The viewer supports zooming, text selection for copying and pasting, and the ability to print presentations to PDF documents.

The latest update to Gmail for mobile on iPhone and Android devices introduces offline functionality, enabling users to compose new messages and read recently accessed messages while offline. Additionally, a new 'floaty bar' menu has been added to facilitate quick batch actions, such as archiving multiple messages.
