Gmail has introduced an upload progress bar that is displayed for each file as it loads, providing users with visual feedback on the attachment process.

Ability to select multiple files for attachment simultaneously in Gmail.
Gmail now allows users to select multiple files from the same folder for attachment simultaneously. This can be achieved by holding the Ctrl key (Cmd on OSX) to select individual files or the Shift key to select a continuous list of files.

Four new features added to Gmail contacts
Gmail has introduced four new contact management capabilities: the ability to merge multiple contacts into a single entry, a new 'All Contacts' group that includes both 'My Contacts' and other correspondents, the option to remove contacts from 'My Contacts' while keeping them in 'All Contacts', and the ability to search across all contact fields, including phone numbers and postal addresses.

Gmail updates label management with new 'Move to' and 'Labels' buttons.
The buttons and menus at the top of the Gmail inbox have been updated to make working with labels easier. The 'Move to' option now applies a new label, archives the message from the inbox, and removes any existing labels, similar to how folders work. The 'Labels' option simply applies a new label to the message without removing others or archiving it.
